Gossain v. Commissioner REPS Case

A review of the Gossain v. Commissioner case demonstrates that the taxpayer was unable to substantiate their claim for real estate professional status. The Court pointed out that the taxpayer had conflated the rules for material participation with the requirements for real estate professional status.
